Camden-based nonprofit receives $30 million grant

CAMDEN - A $30 million federal grant will be a "game-changer" for Camden's largest nonprofit social services agency as it works to provide support to families in the city, U.S. Rep. Donald Norcross said.

The U.S. Department of Education's Promise Neighborhoods Implementation Grant will enable the Center for Family Services to offer educational support for children in some of the city's most distressed sections, including Cooper Lanning, Bergen Square, Centerville and Liberty Park.
