Working with the students that need us most

We believe in doing whatever it takes. Help us ward off the ‘summer slump’ by providing a comprehensive and fun extended school year for the kids who need you most.

About ESY

Extended School Year, or ESY for short, is a summer program for our kids that need extra support over the summer. Our ESY teachers work with some of our best KIPP teachers, particularly in special education to reinforce skills that some of our students struggle to grasp.

As part of the ESY program, you'll provide individualized support for the students who need it most during this extended summer program.  In the morning you’ll work with our elementary students in small groups to provide the additional remediation they need to avoid the ‘summer slump’.  In the afternoon, work one-on-one with middle and high school students who need additional academic time.  Grow your management, remediation and relationship-building skills while making a lasting impact on kids.
