2019 Annual Report

KIPP New Jersey is creating a network of schools in Camden and Newark where our students are prepared to succeed in college and beyond. This year we grew to ensure that opportunity is reaching over 6,700 students across our two cities. Through their hard work, the dedication of supportive families and teachers, and a deeply held, shared belief in their future, they are proving what’s possible.

The Story of Us

In 2002 we opened with one 5th grade class in the West Ward of Newark, NJ and since then have grown to educate thousands. Behind that growth are the stories of the teachers, students, families, supporters and community members whose love, determination, and passion made it all possible. Here are just a few.
