At KIPP New Jersey, our full-day kindergarten program not only helps your child master the essential skills needed for elementary school, but also builds their confidence, curiosity, and love of learning — setting them on the path to success.
What Your Child Will Learn
We teach foundational literacy using what research shows works: clear instruction centered on phonics. Students decode words, read fluently, and build confidence as readers.
Students explore science by observing nature, asking questions, and conducting simple experiments. They connect school to their world through social studies, community helpers, families, and cultural celebrations. Art, music, and recess are woven into every day.
Frequent group work and play help children develop friendships, practice kindness, and learn to collaborate — skills that last a lifetime.
