Support Our Scholars

In 2002 we started our first school and crafted a bold vision statement: One day our nation will know Newark and Camden as cities of world class education.

Now, in 2018:

  • Newark has more beat the odds schools than any other city in the U.S.1
  • Since we opened our first school in Camden, Camden students are 3X as likely to score proficient on PARCC.
  • Our alumni are 3x more likely to graduate with a four-year degree.2
  • KIPP New Jersey sends more African American students to four-year colleges than any other Newark high school.
